Description:

Venture deep into the jungle for an unforgettable sightseeing and horseback excursion. Watch for rainforest animals from the deck of a riverboat, pass through a National Park.

After you’re picked up at your hotel, make your way toward Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui through the lush and life-filled Braulio Carillo National Park, and listen in as your naturalist guide points out various ecological and natural features along the way.
Next, step aboard a boat for a breathtaking, 2-hour cruise along the Sarapiqui River. Soak up the sights, sounds, and smells of the rainforest and watch for the animals that call this verdant habitat home—toucans, monkeys, sloths, and crocodiles all inhabit this fertile landscape.

Take an easy horseback ride into the rainforest jungle and wait for monkeys and iguanas. Listen for birds, including herons and tanagers.
