Description:
On a Paso Fino horse, explore 2,200 acres (890 ha) of Puerto Rico's lush countryside. This horseback adventure, suitable for all levels, allows you to see some of the most picturesque views on the island.
After a safety briefing and introduction to your 4-legged friend, saddle up and hop on for an unforgettable ride. The journey takes you through table top ranges, around lakes, and on wide trails hugging a subtropical forest. Look up at the towering canopy trees or marvel at the wide, open landscape. As you ride along, be on the lookout for wildlife such as the local bananaquit bird or the Puerto Rican parrot, while taking a break to stretch your legs at one of the many scenic vistas.
Paso Fino horses are known for their endurance and comfortable ride. Their history in Puerto Rico dates back to the time when Christopher Columbus disembarked on the island paradise in 1493.
