Description:

Your day is full of adventure as you hop aboard an enormous 6x6 all-terrain ex-military vehicle and rumble across the Dominican countryside. Slide into the rushing Damajaqua Cascades, ride horseback through a tropical forest, and zipline across a field of plentiful mahogany trees.

As you drive through breathtaking tropical scenery on your way to the Damajaqua Cascades, you learn about the culture and history of the area. At the Cascades, you can climb the craggy turf to jump or slide right in and swim near 12 of the 27 gushing limestone waterfalls.

For the second leg of your adventure, mount a horse and follow your guide along a tropical track filled with swaying palm trees and babbling streams. Visit a country home to visit with a family, as well as a schoolhouse filled with Dominican students, who don't mind breaking from their studies to greet you.

Stop for a buffet lunch before the third and final stop—ziplining. You soar among 8 platforms that tower over rich farmland and lush forest, which also provide spectacular views of the mountains in the distance. Cool off with a dip in a secret garden pool before you're taken back to your hotel.
