Description:

On this morning tour, uncover the fascinating history and culture of South Korea at the National Museum of Korea. Then admire the reclaimed waters of Cheonggyecheon Stream, which runs right through the heart of the city, equipped with fantastic light displays, bridges, and natural beauty.

Begin with pickup from your hotel in central Seoul and ride to the National Museum of Korea, the country's largest. Along the way, glimpse Seoul's modern urban landscape built up around its historical features.

Upon arrival, marvel at the many precious Korean cultural artifacts and treasures, which span from the Bronze Age to the modern era. Spend some time at the Exhibitions Gallery and learn about the rich Korean history of the royal family and its dynasty. Then step outside and walk to the nearby gardens; look out over the museum's reflective pool and ancient pagodas for picturesque views of the city.

Next, make your way to the Cheonggyecheon Stream. This natural waterway was hidden for years by an overpass. It now stands as a haven of natural beauty in the middle of the city's bustling activity. Spot more than 20 charming bridges crossing the stream, each with different artistic and architectural styles. Stroll along the stream, catching landmarks such as Deoksugung Palace and Seoul Plaza in the distance.
