Description:
Soar high in the sky, parasailing behind a boat above Lake Taupo, the largest lake in New Zealand. Choose between a 400-foot (122 m) or 800-foot (244 m) parasail, both with a dry takeoff and landing. Choose to experience an optional freefall, adding more adrenaline to the adventure.
Meet your attentive guide at the assembly point, buckle up, and listen to the safety instructions as you prepare for an exhilarating experience. Take a 30-foot (9 m) boat out on the lake and reach for the sky as your feet leave the deck and you ascend above Lake Taupo.
Watch the world drop below you, and enjoy sweeping views of the majestic Mt. Ruapehu, charming Tongariro National Park, and its natural surroundings. Feel the thrill as you twist and turn with the jet boat's movement.
An optional freefall is available for each ride, letting you parachute towards the water's edge, only to be whisked back to the sky at the last moment.
