Start your tour with a hotel pickup and head to the Han Yang Ling Mausoleum, the burial place of the fourth emperor of the Western Han dynasty. The site features more than 40,000 individual terracotta figures as well as magnificent cultural relics, like the emperor's tomb, human-sacrifice graveyard, and criminals' cemetery. Walk along the exhibition’s glass floors and look down on the figures of soldiers and animals half-embedded in the trenches.
For lunch, indulge in a dumpling banquet—a specialty in Xi’an. Taste the different kinds of dumplings filled with vegetables, pork, or seafood.
Your tour continues with a visit to the Shaanxi History Museum. Discover a large collection of preserved antique relics and learn about the area’s rich culture and history.
