Description:

Travel to the town of the Swiss mountain girl Heidi and explore the rolling hills, deep valleys, and rugged mountain peaks that inspired this tale. Join your guide for a hike to the picturesque Heidi Village and enjoy a traditional Swiss lunch at a local farm.

Meet your tour at Zurich Central Station and hop on the train for a trip to Maienfeld. Located in the picturesque Alps, this town is mostly famous for the best-selling novel Heidi by Johanna Spyri. Upon arrival, join your guide for a take a breaked hike to Heidi Village. Enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and valleys, stopping at the iconic Heidi fountain and the famous house.

Continue your hike through a nearby forest, admiring gargantuan trees that are over 300 years old. After working up an appetite, enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a local farm. Try some signature homemade sausage and cheese while taking in the nature that surrounds you. Then enjoy a leisurely walk back to the train station where for your return trip to Zurich.
