Aug 21, 2027 - Kotor

Take a step back in time and visit the old town of Kotor, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in this part of the Mediterranean. The asymmetric structure of the narrow streets and squares, combined with the awesome monuments of medieval architecture, contributed to Kotor being placed on UNESCO’s “World’s natural and cultural inheritance” list. From ancient fortification systems surrounding the city to 12th century cathedrals, Kotor is a dream come true for those who revel in history. Entrance to town from the Gurdic spring, consists of 3 separate gates, built from the 13th, 16th and 18th centuries. The Cathedral of St. Tryphon is one of the most visited and impressive churches in the city. According to some texts, the original church was erected in the 8th century and rebuilt in 1166. Two earthquakes, one in 1667 and one in 1979 seriously damaged the cathedral and it continues to be restored to this day. The city is breathtaking in every respect and only a visit will truly reveal all it has to offer.

Aug 22, 2027 - Monopoli

Located on the Adriatic coast halfway between Bari and Brindisi, Monopoli is a doorway to the rugged region of Puglia, renowned for its vineyards and olive orchards, and for the distinctive trulli, whitewashed stone houses with conical stone roofs

Travelers flock to Korcula, appreciating its stunning location, natural beauty and impressive medieval look. If that’s not enough, there are numerous attractions, such as the City Museum, the Bishop’s Treasury, a collection of icons, art galleries and old churches with priceless paintings.

Aug 24, 2027 - Sibenik

This attractive coastal city shows traces of its fascinating history, having been under Venetian, Byzantine, Bosnian, Austrian, Italian and Hungarian rule over the centuries. The old town centers on Poljana Square, which is surrounded by old patrician houses and palaces. Be sure to visit City Hall and the baroque-style Church of St. Lawrence. The pearl of the city is the Cathedral of St. Jacob, which was built by Juraj Dalmatinac in the 15th century. It's been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its unusual construction and ornamentation. Fortresses that once were used in defense of the city are now attractive spots with beautiful views. There's also a museum in what once was an elaborate palace. Popular day trips out of Sibenik include the magnificent Krka River National Park and the Kornati Islands National Park.

Aug 25, 2027 - Opatija

Opatija, this elegant tourist destination, lies at the center of the Riviera with the longest tradition of tourism in Croatia. The very attractive geographic position, enabling its warm seas to be quickly reached from many cities in Central Europe, lush green scenery and pleasant climate were some of the main reasons for its beginning and the quick development of its tourism at the end of the 19th century. Well-maintained public gardens, the illuminated 12-km-long coastal promenade known as the "Lungomare", well-kept beaches and fountains provide a stunning backdrop for the villas and hotels that cater comfortably for up to 6,000 guests.

Aug 26, 2027 - Porec

Porec has a myriad of activities and sites to occupy yourself with, be it indulging in local, traditional cuisine and Istrian wine, or relaxing under a summer night sky in an outdoor concert outside of the 6th century Euphrasius Basilica. Remains of antiquity are scattered throughout town; visit the Marafor square to see temples of Neptune and Mars from the 1st century, or the Porec tower, built in the 15th century as fortifications against Ottoman attack. With over 2,000 years of history, Porec's streets are laden with remnants and pieces of times' past. Hop on a bike to get some fresh air, as many cycling trails are nearby: the Euphrasiana Trail snakes along the Istrian coast, the St. Mauro trail that takes you through the town and its outskirts, or the St Michael Undrer Ground trail, possibly an ancient Roman route beginning in Kašteli. Marine attractions include wreck diving or diving the various shoals off the coast.

Aug 27, 2027 - Venice

With a great historic past and incomparable art treasures, Venice is renowned as one of the world’s great cities. Its 118 islands are separated by more than 150 canals and spanned by 400 bridges. During Venice's artistic golden age many magnificent structures were erected to create world-famous masterpieces. One of the best sightseeing routes is along Grand Canal, with many palaces lining the famous waterway. St. Mark’s Square offers access to some of Venice’s most famed attractions - St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. From Piazza San Marco, a maze of narrow streets are lined with shops, cafés and restaurants. A popular pastime is sitting at an outdoor café facing the square while people-watching and letting the whole marvelous scenario unfold. Venice’s Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands comprise an area famous as home of Venice’s glass-blowing industry and known for their charm, skilled lace-making and medieval monuments. Relax on a gondola ride, see art treasures in museums, churches and palaces, and have a sumptuous meal - all in this incomparable city.

Aug 28, 2027 - Rovinj

Many visitors have been enchanted by Rovinj and its beauties. At the 100-year-old institution of Rovinj Aquarium one can admire fauna of the Adriatic Sea. There are places of great natural and ecological value: forest park Punta Corente-Muntrav, St. Andrea's archipelago, the Palud marsh, the Limski kanal Fjord, and Monfiorenzo cave. The antique city center presents a unique Venetian urban and architectural model, built upon late antiquity and high medieval foundations. The historic nucleus is up on a hill, on a very narrow building area of former island, with houses bunched together up to the baroque St. Euphemia Church - which has a slender bell tower dominating the city. The ample Valdibora Bay is on the North side, and the pictoresque Bay of St. Catherine is on southern side of the city. Rovinj has numerous sporting associations, important scientific and research institutions, museums, cultural attractions, and educational instituitions.
