This 5-day stay is the ultimate way to experience Rome in style. The day after you arrive, enjoy a walking tour that showcases Rome through the eyes of a local. Wander through Roman neighbourhoods and discover hidden secrets before enjoying a cooking class that'll equip you with some great Italian recipes to take home with you. The next day, explore the glories of Ancient Rome, starting at the mighty Colosseum and working your way through the Roman Forum and Capitoline Hill. Your afternoon is devoted to the Vatican Museums, where a guided tour takes you past the queues to explore the Raphael Rooms, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Day 1: Arrive in Rome & Private Half Day Rome Walking Tour

The property is built above fascinating ancient Roman ruins, including an authentic Roman Cryptoportico discovered during excavations in the 19th century. Take an exclusive 3-hour private walking tour of Italy's capital city, Rome. This tour includes a visit to some of the most famous squares in the centre of the city such as the Spanish Square and its famous Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, the Pantheon and Navona Square. Unless closed for religious ceremonies, a visit to some of Rome's traditional Catholic churches may be included in the walking tour, for example, the Church of St. Ignatius or the Church of St. Louis.




Day 2: Private Half Day Tour of Ancient Rome

A comprehensive visit to the world's largest amphitheater. This tour will take you back to Roman times, 2,000 years ago, when Rome ruled the world.


During your tour, you will learn about the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, and ancient Roman life. You will be amazed as you enter the excavation site that once housed the Roman Forum. Your guide will share with you the ancient temples, theaters, and government buildings that were once the heart of Rome's commercial and political life.


Your tour continues with a leisurely walk up to the Palatine Hill, which was once home to Rome's rich and famous who lived in imperial palaces with incredible views over the city. Your guide will share stories of the luxurious life of excess lived by Ancient Roman rulers as you stroll through this peaceful excavation.




Day 3: Private Half Day Vatican City Tour

This tour covers the most significant collections of the Vatican Museums. Explore the Museo Pio Clementino and the Galleries of the Candelabras, Tapestries, and Maps, each showcasing remarkable works of art and history. Continue through the famous Raphael Rooms within the apartment of Pope Julius II, adorned with the master's stunning frescoes. The tour culminates in the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo's legendary ceiling and The Last Judgment leave visitors in awe. When not closed for religious ceremonies, the experience concludes at St. Peter's Basilica, allowing guests to admire one of the most important Christian churches in the world.




Day 4: Private Half Day Tour of the Catacombs

From the car have a panoramic view of Caracalla's Bath, the Old Appian way and the Domine Quo Vadis chapel. According to the day, as each Catacomb has a free day in which it is closed, go either to San Callisto's or Santa Domitilla's or San Sebastian's catacombs. If it is not closed due to religious services, the tour will end in the church of San Pietro in Vincoli, to admire the famous Moses of Michelangelo.


As an alternative, a visit to Catacombs of Santa Priscilla can also be arranged which is well known from all the ancient topographic and liturgical sources and are located on the Via Salaria, with the entrance in the cloister of the ancient convent of Benedictine Sisters of Priscilla. Because of the great number of martyrs buried within, it was called “regina catacumbarum”, the queen of the catacombs.




Day 5: Depart from Rome
