Daily Itinerary
Day 1 San Jose del Cabo

As part of Los Cabos—a name bestowed by Mexican tourism officials upon the once-remote Baja California communities—San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas frequently are considered to be the same type of place. However, party-hearty Cabo San Lucas is strictly a resort, while 200-year-old San Jose del Cabo is a bona fide—although small—Mexican town with a shady plaza and pastel pink and blue houses.

Visitors from abroad often find San Jose del Cabo one of the most Americanized resorts in Mexico with English as common as Spanish on signs, many expatriates running businesses, and prices on restaurant menus, in shops and bars, and on tours given in U.S. dollars instead of Mexican pesos. You can get a sense of the natural beauty surrounding Los Cabos, though, from the lookout point above Costa Azul, a popular surfing beach just south of San Jose.

San Jose del Cabo stands apart from other resort destinations in Mexico such as Cancun or Puerto Vallarta because of its climate, geography, terrain and its former life as the last frontier on the Baja Peninsula. Visitors to San Jose del Cabo are lured by its deep-blue sea, coves and beaches, dramatic rock formations and desert landscapes; however, in addition to basking in the temperate climate, they also play golf, go deep-sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling, whale-watch and explore Baja off-road.

Day 2 La Paz, Mexico

La Paz is one of the most beautiful towns of northwestern Mexico, and tourism now plays a major role in the city's economy. The Gulf of California is home to over 800 species of fish, including giant manta rays, whales, dolphins, and sea lions. In the mountains behind the city the Sierra De La Laguna Biosphere Reserve is home to an incredible abundance and diversity of flora and fauna, including species unique to the area. The city has an aquarium, two marinas, museums, theaters, and an art institute. The Las Californias Library is located within the former Government Palace, and holds the most important manuscript collection on the region's history.

Day 3 Isla San Jose

The Islands in the sea of Cortez, Mexico, are among the most beautiful and captivating regions in the world. The remote island of San Jose offers spectacular coastal scenery, fine camping beaches, and an opportunity to really escape from the crowds. You will discover some incredible snorkeling and kayaking sites where the sea is teeming with tropical fish.

Day 4 Bahia Agua Verde

Bahia Agua Verde is a remote fishing village located in a cliff-lined bay on the Sea of Cortez. The area is a popular sportsfishing spot in the south of Loreto. The glassy blue waters of Bahia Agua Verde are also ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving and whale shark watching.

Day 5 Isla Monserrat
Day 6 Isla San Jose

The Islands in the sea of Cortez, Mexico, are among the most beautiful and captivating regions in the world. The remote island of San Jose offers spectacular coastal scenery, fine camping beaches, and an opportunity to really escape from the crowds. You will discover some incredible snorkeling and kayaking sites where the sea is teeming with tropical fish.

Day 7 Isla San Francisco

Isla San Francisco is a beautiful island -shaped like a fishing hook- off the coast of Mexico. Visitors have the chance to hike to the top of the mountain for the stunning view and then trek back down to enjoy happy hour on the beach. The island features a calm water bay where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling and kayaking.

Day 8 Los Islotes

Los Islotes includes a wetland preserve, as well as an estuary visited by monkeys and other wildlife.  Behind the community lies a range of green and rugged mountains, including Cerro Hoya, the highest peak on the Azuero Peninsula.  Los Islotes is a haven for active outdoor lovers, with trails for hiking through the lush landscape, riding horseback from our stables into the surrounding hills, or mountain biking to nearby Cerro Hoya National Park.

Day 8 Isla Partida

Islas Partida and Espiritu Santo lie right in the entrance to Bahia de La Paz. Really a single island, seperated by volcanic crator, these islands offer some really incredible anchorages, excellant diving, hiking and wildlife.

Day 9 La Paz, Mexico

La Paz is one of the most beautiful towns of northwestern Mexico, and tourism now plays a major role in the city's economy. The Gulf of California is home to over 800 species of fish, including giant manta rays, whales, dolphins, and sea lions.
