With this unique culinary experience, guests will learn to cook a delicious Bistecca alla Fiorentina, or Florentine steak, from an expert chef. In the evening, they will head to one of the finest trattorias in Florence for a warm welcome accompanied by local wine. Having donned their aprons, guests will learn how to prepare Florence’s famous beef steak with the best quality-certified Chianina meat, guided by the chef. Not just that – participants will also learn to create a three-course meal, complete with a traditional Tuscan starter or antipasti ‘Fettunta’ and a side dish such as roasted potatoes, greens, salad, and traditional white beans. With a small group, guests are ensured an immersive experience and personalized instructions from the expert. They will learn invaluable tips on butcher cuts, how to use the high-quality ingredients, and tried and tested techniques for preparing a Tuscan meal. Afterward, they will feast on the three-course meal they helped prepare before leaving the trattoria.
