Daily Itinerary
Costsaver: Greek Spotlight with Cruise Small Group (Moderate C Cabins)
Day 1 - Arrive Athens
Athens doesn’t just bring the history, it practically invented the good bits. Once the center of the ancient world, today it’s your turn to dive in. Arrive at your hotel, then get out and explore the Greek capital your way. Around every corner, the ‘Cradle of Western Civilization’ shows off with ancient temples, buzzing streets and ruins that have seen a few things. Go chasing big stories, bold views and those “how is this still standing?” moments before meeting your Travel Director and fellow travelers later on.
Accommodations: Dorian Inn
Day 2 - Athens Sightseeing – Nafplio
Climb to the Acropolis with your Local Guide and stand before the Parthenon, Athens’ skyline-stealing superstar. See the Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch before stopping at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the Evzone guards. Then pause at Vryssaki Art Cafe, a creative little hideaway serving coffee, sweet treats and a view worth lingering over. Later, journey to Nafplio via the Corinth Canal, arriving for a free evening. Add a Choice Experience to view Palamidi Castle, Bourtzi Fortress and the Sleeping Lion statue before dinner at a family-run local restaurant.

Day 3 - Nafplio - Delphi
Start with ancient Mycenae, where your Local Guide unpacks a world of royal tombs, mighty ruins and Bronze Age drama that did not come to play. Then swap warrior kings for winged workers at Axion Esti, a family-run organic beekeeping facility in Stemnitsa. This MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience is sweet, hands-on and properly local. Meet Sophia and Anthony, zip into beekeeper gear, get close to the hives, nose around the museum and taste honey straight from the source while learning why these tiny pollinators are big-time ecosystem heroes. After all that buzz, grab lunch in Mycenae your way before the road calls again. This afternoon, continue to Delphi and settle in for a free evening in this storied mountain town.
Accommodations: Pythia Art
Meals: Breakfast
Day 4 - Delphi – Kalambaka
Delphi gets straight to the good stuff today. Walk the Sacred Way to the Temple of Apollo, the same route Alexander the Great once took when he wanted the Oracle to tell him he’d conquer the world. No pressure, then. With your Local Guide, get the stories behind the prophecies, big personalities and Pythian Games, where sport and the arts shared the stage. Add a Choice Experience and settle in for a hosted lunch at a local restaurant in Delphi. Good food, local flavor and no ancient riddles required. The views keep coming on the drive to Thermopylae, where King Leonidas and his Spartans made their famous stand, before you arrive in Kalambaka for dinner at your hotel.
Accommodations: Edelweiss
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 5 - Kalambaka – Meteora – Athens
Meteora doesn’t do ordinary. This morning, join a Local Guide to visit one of its sky-high monasteries, perched on towering rock pillars above Kalambaka and built by monks in the 14th century. The views are big, the setting is wild and the story behind this place is just as impressive. Later, return to Athens where the rest of the day is yours to spend your way. This evening, add a Choice Experience and gather with your new friends for a lively taverna night with traditional Greek food, drinks and dancing.

Day 6 - Embark Cruise – Mykonos
Set your watch to the laid-back pace of the Greek Islands, boarding your cruise through the Aegean where your only priorities will be good food, good friends and good times. With that in mind, your first stop ticks all the boxes as you enjoy your time on Mykonos, the Island of the Winds, whether you're rambling through the narrow streets of Chora or sharing the sun-dappled courtyard with lazy cats and welcoming locals.

Day 7 - Mykonos – Kusadasi - Patmos
Today, dock in Kusadasi and head for ancient Ephesus on a complimentary Shore Experience. Marble streets, grand ruins and clever Roman touches show off just how impressive this once-great city really was. Back on board, sail to Patmos, a small island with a big place in history. This is where St. John is said to have written the Book of Revelation, and you can add a Choice Experience to visit the Cave of the Apocalypse and St. John’s Monastery. Sacred stories, sea views and a proper step back in time, all in one day.

Day 8 - Patmos – Crete – Santorini
Crete is serving up choices today. Go full ancient-world detective at the Palace of Knossos, where bold wall paintings, mighty ruins and Minoan legends prove this island had main-character energy long before Santorini stole the spotlight. Prefer your day with a little more countryside charm? Head inland for a taste of Cretan life, where local flavor does the heavy lifting. Next, sail to Santorini and watch this Cycladic knockout rise from the Aegean like it knows it’s about to take over your camera roll. This afternoon, add a Shore Experience through villages and vineyards to Oia, where blue domes, white walls and caldera views are basically showing off for a living. Santorini subtle? Not a chance.

Day 9 - Santorini – Disembark Athens
And just like that, Athens is back on the scene. After ancient wonders, island-hopping highs and a very healthy dose of Aegean blue, your Greek adventure comes to a close. From following in the footsteps of Socrates, Aristotle and Plato to ticking off treasures that have been stealing the show for thousands of years, you’ve packed in some serious bucket list moments. As you disembark your cruise, it’s time to say goodbye for now, but those Greece memories? They’re not going anywhere. Heads up: this trip ends at Lavrio Port, your flight from Athens should be scheduled no earlier than noon on disembarkation day.
