Day 3: Half Day Tour of Delos

Just a 30-minute boat ride from Mykonos lies Delos, once the spiritual and cultural heart of the Cyclades. Known as the island of light, it is celebrated as the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and was home to one of the first truly multicultural civilizations of the ancient world.

Exploring Delos is like stepping back in time. Inhabited between 2500 and 69 BC, the island still holds remarkable remnants of its past: the ancient Agora (marketplace), the famous Terrace of the Lions, the sacred lake, residential quarters, and the theatre, all offering vivid glimpses into daily life thousands of years ago. Highlights include the House of Dionysos, the House of Cleopatra, and the Houses of the Trident, Masks, and Dolphins, each adorned with intricate mosaics that bring ancient artistry to life.

The island also features the Temple of Isis, dedicated to the Egyptian goddess, as well as Roman cisterns and an advanced water system. The on-site museum is a true treasure trove, showcasing breathtaking mosaics, statues, and artifacts uncovered during excavations.

Day 6: Day Tour Volcano and Hot Springs

Your day begins with a boat ride, departing the old port. You will sail, enjoying the stunning views, until you reach the volcano lava "Nea Kameni". This volcano is extremely famous for the beautiful caldera, the island is also known for the two small islands of black lava positioned at the center of the basin of Santorini which are, geographically, the youngest islets in the Eastern Mediterranean. Here you have around an hour to walk up to the crater, which is still active.

You will then set sail along the lava rock to reach the hot springs of "Palea Kameni". Here you will stop for around 30 minutes (off shore), giving you time to swim towards the hot springs. The yellow waters contain a large amount of sulfur and are characterized for their therapeutic purposes. Today, visit Agios Nikolaos which is the small cove in Nea Kameni islet is a true health source.

After your swim, you will re-board the boat and sail back to the old port in Fira. You will be transferred by bus to Oia and have a free time to enjoy the most beautiful sunset.
