Ottolire Resort is embraced by a lush private forest of oaks and Mediterranean plants, where a maze of walking paths winds between dry stone walls and traditional Trulli of the Itria Valley. Set just outside Locorotondo, the property offers a serene escape defined by nature, heritage, and the understated beauty of the Apulian countryside.
The resort is thoughtfully arranged across three separate buildings, each only a short walk from the other and designed in traditional Apulian style with characteristic local stonework. At the heart of the property, a swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and climbing vines invites guests to relax with Mediterranean-inspired aperitifs and refreshing cold-pressed juices.
The 20 suites are crafted by local artisans using ancient materials and time-honored techniques, blending modern comfort with distinctive architectural character. No two suites are alike, yet each offers generous space, refined design, and all contemporary amenities. Guests can savor the flavors of Italian cuisine at the on-site restaurant, where traditional dishes draw inspiration from the richness of Apulias landscape.
A scenic terrace overlooking olive groves and vineyards provides an unforgettable setting for special events, while a dedicated wellness Trullo offers a private retreat with a hot tub, Turkish bath, and immersive sensory showersperfect for restoring body and mind in a truly authentic setting.
