Located in the Southern Grenadines, the archipelago is also the site of the Tobago Cays Marine Park, consisting of a large sand-bottomed lagoon and the vibrant Horseshoe Reef. Jan 27, 2029 - Port Elizabeth (Bequia)
Jan 28, 2029 - Port Elizabeth (Bequia)
Jan 29, 2029 - St. Pierre, Martinique

Saint-Pierre, Martinique, is often called the Pompeii of the New World—in 1902, about 30,000 people perished under a cloud of molten ash and poisonous gas there, about 20 mi/32 km north of Fort de France. Before Mount Pelee erupted, Saint-Pierre was often likened to Paris for its beauty and sophistication. As you walk the streets that were dug out of the ashes, consider what Saint-Pierre was like a century ago. The town had three newspapers, several consulates and an intricate trolley line. Some of the stone two-story homes were equipped with running water, electricity and telephones.

Only one person survived the Saint-Pierre disaster: a prisoner sleeping off a raucous night in a stone cell. He went on to fame in the U.S. as part of the Barnum and Bailey circus. His cell can be seen in the ruins of the prison, situated right next to the ruins of the old theater, also worth a visit.

The town of Le Carbet, south of Saint-Pierre, marks the spot where Columbus landed in 1502, and has beautiful gray sand beaches.

Jan 30, 2029 - Terre-de-Haut, Guadeloupe

The largest of the Les Saintes islands, off the southern coast of Guadeloupe, Terre-de-Haut is a tropical paradise.  Its calm waters provide an excellent environment for snorkeling.  Rent a moped and explore the island, visit the 19th century penitentiary turned museum at Fort Napoleon or simply relax on the sandy shores of Terre-de-Haut.

Jan 31, 2029 - Charlestown

Charlestown is a Caribbean town with remnants of the Colonial era. It’s the capital of the island of Nevis of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies. The town was developed as early as the 17th century by the British building Fort Charles and mounting 26 cannons to protect its harbor. The British had a lucrative sugar trade much profitable than that of North America. Historical figure Anthony Hamilton, the first US Secretary of Treasury was born and raised in Charlestown.

Travelers visiting Charlestown can tour the Nelson Museum, Philatelic Bureau or Museum of Nevis History. Visitors can either horseback ride by the beach or relax by it under the Caribbean sun!

Jan 31, 2029 - South Friar's Bay, St. Kitts

Located on the Southeast Peninsula, South Friar's Bay is a great swimming beach with a long stretch of golden sand and calm waters. This Caribbean beach, which is a favorite for both tourists and locals, is perfect for watersports, especially snorkeling. It is also a great spot for a beach picnic or party. South Friar's Bay is home to Godfather's, Sunset and Shipwreck Beach Bars - which provide refreshments for all visitors.

Feb 01, 2029 - Marigot, St. Martin

Marigot is the French side of the magnificent island of St. Martin. Its amenities provide for one of the most exhilarating experiences in the Caribbean. Sailing buffs can join in a real race on a pair of multi-million dollar America's Cup Yachts, for a 12-meter "mini-regatta."

Feb 01, 2029 - Gustavia

There was never any hope of lucrative sugar plantations in St.Barths. It was too dry, too steep, too rocky, and, finally, too small. Unsuitable for agriculture, the island was never coveted as a prize during the colonial wars of the 18th century. The place had a serviceable harbor, and this allowed the town that grew around it, Gustavia, to play a key role in that intermittent conflict, a role that was to presage much of its future. Overflowing warehouses surrounded a harbor packed with ships from many nations, and a mercantile and architectural tradition was established that has lingered to the present day. Today, Gustavia has adjusted itself to satisfy the increasing number of visiting tourists. Restaurants, boutiques, and gift shops now line streets once busy with merchants, merchant seamen, and adventurers.

Feb 04, 2029 - St. Thomas (Charlotte Amalie)

There are many ways to hunt for treasure in St. Thomas. You can discover its historic wealth in such places as the birthplace of painter Camille Pissarro or the infamous Bluebeard's Tower. Its sporting riches are tennis, golf, sailing and incredible beaches. Beneath its crystal-clear waters, you'll find coral gardens and shimmering schools of jewel-colored fish. Its fortune of earthly treasures can be found in the many shops of Charlotte Amalie, where savings on jewels, crystal, perfume and fine wines will arouse your hunting instincts.
