Iconic Landmarks Explore elegant Budapest and the scenic Danube Bend on this independent trip through Hungary’s grand architecture, riverside towns, and rich cultural traditions.Trip Overview:Start your stay in Budapest, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with a tour of the city which includes Heroes Square, the Hungarian State Opera House, the Hungarian parliament building, the Royal Palace and the tall and imposing St Stephen’s Cathedral. Later have a walking tour in the old Castle District and enjoy the view from Fishermen’s Bastion situated on Castle Hill, with its many stairs and walkways and where one has amazing panoramic views of the city.
The next day takes you out of the city for a full day’s sightseeing in the Hungarian countryside as you travel to the Danube Bend. Here you will visit three old cities – Visegrad with its medieval castle and early Renaissance style Royal Palace, the ancient capital of Hungary, Esztergom with a visit to the interior of the largest cathedral in the country and Szentendre, a charming town known for its museums and galleries as well as its well preserved houses and churches. You will also have a cruise on the River Danube.
The same evening, you will be taken to the Citadel on Castle Hill for dinner and a traditional folklorique show while enjoying the amazing panoramic views of Budapest by night.

Day 2: Half Day Highlights of Budapest TourAre you ready to discover Budapest? We are prepared to show you the Hungarian capital in 3 hours so get ready to engage by this city. The Heroes Square, the State Opera House, the Hungarian Parliament, the Royal Palace and the Citadel (photostop) cannot wait for you to see them. The buses are air-conditioned and they all have a live guided. During the Grand City Tour you will also go on a walk in the Castle District to enjoy its unique medieval atmosphere. The tour ends in the city center.

Day 3: Private Full Day Danube Bend & Folklore TourA truly comprehensive full day tour that introduces you to the many spectacular sites along the Danube including: Esztergom - the center of the Catholic Church, Short visit in Slovakia - photostop, Visegad - breathtaking panorama of the Danube Valley from the top of the Visegrad Hill, a 3 course menu in Visegrad and a walking tour in Szentendre. This is a 9.5 hours tour.
Night tour with the marvellous illuminated face of Budapest. See the most beautiful sights at night and enjoy the traditional Hungarian cuisine in an authentic restaurant. Highlights of the tour include tasting traditional Palinka (Schnapps) and Pogacsa (home-made salt cake) at the entrance to the Csarda, a 3 course menu with wine, spectacular folklore show and live music and see an unforgettable Budapest panorama from the Gellert Hill.
