The camp features just six custom en-suite canvas tents constructed with 360-degree mesh sides that invite the sounds and breezes of the wild savanna inside. Set within designated wilderness walking areas of Serengeti National Park, Usawa offers the rare privilege of setting out on foot for armed guided walking safaris directly from camp, delivering an unfiltered encounter with nature that vehicle safaris simply cannot match.

Six custom-built, solar-powered mobile canvas tents (36 sq meters of living space plus a 10 sq meter shaded verandah). Engineered with 360-degree mesh walls that maximize views of the wild savanna, each suite features view-facing king or twin canopy beds, fine linens, an en-suite bathroom with a flush toilet, and a signature heated bucket shower filled on request.
Wilderness Usawa Interconnected Family Unit
Designed for adventurous families traveling together, this unit connects two full-sized luxury tents via a protected external passageway. Accommodating up to two adults and three children (ages 6+), it features two private en-suite bathrooms, separate bedrooms, and customized child-friendly bush adventures led by Wilderness Tanzanian safari educators.
