Shed® started as a food truck on the edge of the forest here at Paws Up—a wood-fired pizza joint, gastro eatery and roadside smoke trailer all in one. This pop-up for live-fire cuisine became such a popular gathering place near the Wilderness Outpost that we decided to make it a permanent fixture. And what a fixture it is, designed by cutting-edge architect Kristen Becker of Seattle’s Mutuus Studio. Every aspect of the unique space invites guests to gather, relax and share tales of their latest Paws Up adventure—from the stunning rustic architecture and its soaring whalebone-like structures to a 250-gallon smoker and a flame that mesmerizes from a six-foot stone hearth. But of course, the star of the show is the exceptional cuisine. You’ll find quesadillas, chili, garlic bread and more. On the grill, the chefs prepare sandwiches, elote (grilled corn) and seasonal veggies. In the smoker, cauliflower burnt ends, wings and sausages with cornbread await foodies. A variety of fresh salads and sides are also available as is a plethora of yummy desserts. Shed hits the spot, on the spot, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
