As the social media and marketing landscape continues to evolve, we understand that many travel trade clients are choosing to work with influencers and fan sites (collectively referred to as “influencers”) to help promote and grow their businesses. When selecting and engaging an influencer to create content about Disney vacation products, we want to provide you with the tools to make the best decision possible for your business as well as Disney Destinations.

We have recently made updates to the request process for working with influencers, which will go into effect beginning Nov. 7, 2025. A few notable aspects of this updated request process are summarized below, but in all cases, remain subject to the guidelines:

• Select your influencer(s) with the criteria set forth in the guidelines in mind.
• Physical Requests: Download and fill out the updated Influencer Request Form, which is linked below and can be found on DisneyCopyright.com. Email the completed form to your Disney Destinations Sales Solutions Representative and dx.sales.social.media.request@disney.com no later than two weeks prior* to the proposed activation. (*Please allow additional time for influencers with Marvel affinity.) Please make sure to download the updated Influencer Request Form before submitting your request. 
• Digital Requests: Fill out and submit the digital Influencer Request Form via Smartsheet, which is linked below. The form must be completed for each influencer and should be submitted no later than two weeks prior* to the proposed activation. (*Please allow additional time for influencers with Marvel affinity.) For multiple requests, please use the back button from the confirmation page to repopulate all form fields.
• A Disney representative will review your request and provide feedback. If any request is not specifically approved in writing by Disney, your request will be deemed disapproved.
• If your request is approved by Disney, you must complete and share the applicable Influencer Notice Letter to your approved influencer before their activation. These are also linked below and can be found on DisneyCopyright.com.
• After your approved influencer’s activation, you will be responsible for monitoring the content produced by the influencer, ensuring that all applicable laws and the guidelines are followed.

Please remember that these guidelines are specifically for non-personnel of travel trade clients. Personnel of your company visiting Disney locations to create content should continue to follow the “Spontaneous Posting Social Media Policy” available on DisneyCopyright.com.
