From October to May, the average high temperature is 57° F and the average low temperature is 35° F. From June to September, the average high temperature is 86° F and the average low is 53° F.
Combining urban living with Old West charm, Reno offers something for everyone. Casino gambling and the big-name entertainment shows that go along with it (both far less extensive than in Las Vegas, which lies 340 mi/545 km southeast) are popular, but there are 15 ski resorts, Lake Tahoe, Carson City and several other diverse options all within an hour's drive of the city.
