Beginning and ending in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, take a cruise out of Whittier on Prince William Sound to view breathtaking glaciers while watching for eagles, whales, porpoises, seals, mountain goats, and more. Between Anchorage and Tok, enjoy beautiful views of Matanuska Glacier and Kluane National Park’s rugged mountains on the way to Whitehorse. Enjoy the stunning scenery as you motor over the Top of the World Highway en route to Fairbanks. More magnificent scenery awaits you on your journey aboard the Alaska Railroad between Fairbanks and Denali National Park and Preserve as you view the awe-inspiring wilderness via the wide windows and the domed-roof car. Denali National Park & Preserve, with its six million acres, is the third largest park in the United States and is home to North America’s highest peak, Denali (formerly Mount McKinley) at an impressive 20,310 ft.
