Banff National Park: A Nature Lover's Paradise: Flying into Calgary, we quickly rented a car and made our way to the picturesque resort town of Banff, nestled in the heart of Banff National Park. Established in 1885 as Canada's first national park and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Banff boasts awe-inspiring mountain scenery and a myriad of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. From hot springs to snow skiing in winter and hiking, shopping, and wildlife spotting in summer, this charming town has something for everyone. We delighted in exploring the downtown area, treating ourselves to a delicious meal at the renowned Grizzly House Restaurant, and relishing the cozy ambiance while savoring French Onion soup and Sirloin Burgers.

While the more adventurous can undertake the 6.4-mile hike to the Plain of Six Glaciers, we opted for a pleasant and easy 3-mile walk along the lake, culminating in the sight of a small glacier.

Victoria: A Blend of History and Natural Splendor: Leaving the Canadian Rockies behind, we flew to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, located on Vancouver Island. Victoria's abundant parkland and temperate weather create the perfect environment for stunning gardens and beautiful landscapes.
