Visiting Disneyland in Anaheim California can be tricky trying to figure out when is the best time to visit. From Weather, Holidays, and Crowds, it’s finding those times that work for your magical vacation. I’ve researched and put together my best judgement on crowd levels at Disneyland. Jumping right to March 2024 for my crowd calendar!

March 2024     

   With Holidays, Spring Breaks, and After Dark Events it makes March a very busy month. Weather Averages range from 73F for a high and 51F for a low!

• March 1- April 22 Disney California Adventure is hosting Food & Wine Festival 2024• Spring breaks!• March 5 & 7 Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite• March 17 St Patrick’s Day• March 22- April 14 Wonderous Journeys Parade• March 29 Good Friday• March 31 Easter

April 2024

With spring breaks continuing into April and Disneyland After Dark Star Wars Nites there will be higher crowds for some dates. Weather averages range between 76F for a high and 53F for a low!

May 2024

With Grad Nites, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nites, and Fantasmic returning to Disneyland the crowds are sure to follow. Weather averages range from 78F for a high and 57F for a low!

Summer is busy with families taking family vacations! Weather averages range from 81F for high and 61F for low!

July 2024

With Fourth of July and Disneyland’s Birthday Celebration, it’s a special month with special snacks and events for Disneyland’s Birthday Celebration! Weather averages range from 87F for high and 65F for low!

August 2024

Princess week brings specialty Princess merch, snacks, and Princess events! Also, Halloween Time at Disneyland Starts this year in August! Weather averages range from 89F for high and 65F for low!

September 2024

With school back full time the parks are relatively calm with weekends being busy. Oogie Boogie Bash is hosted in Disney California Adventure on select nights starting at 6:00pm. If you don’t have a Special Event Ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash, you will have to leave Disney California Adventure. Weather averages range from 87F for high to 63F for low!

October 2024

October is one of the busiest months at Disneyland! Oogie Boogie Bash is a sold-out event so nights that it runs quests who don’t have tickets will park hop over to Disneyland making Disneyland very crowded. Weather averages range from 82F for high and 58F for low!

November 2024

Holiday Season begins normally around Veteran’s Day weekend. You can expect a Holiday Fireworks show, a Holiday Parade, and special Holiday food and treats. Weather averages range from 76F for high and 52F for low!

December 2024

With Disneyland hosting its annual Candlelight Processional the first weekend of December is a very busy weekend. With schools having winter breaks the parks fill up with many traveling during this time to visit! Weather averages range from 70F for high and 47F for low!
