Tee off on a course surrounded by sleepy volcanoes, lush tropical forests, and brilliant blue skies littered with puffy white clouds. The award-winning Puakea golf course showcases some of Kauai’s most stunning landscapes while offering players a challenging and fun set of holes.
Built on the grounds of a former sugar plantation, Puakea was redesigned in 2010. Now, the 18-hole course features ocean views, steep ravines, and dense jungle environments. Navigate tight greens from lofty tee boxes and catch glimpses of the deep blue Pacific as you crush long drives onto well-manicured fairways.
Every new hole presents another set of unique obstacles and gorgeous vistas. At the turn, consider stopping in at the café to purchase a refreshing drink or a quick bite to eat. When you’re ready to close out your day, hit the back 9 and finish out your round, sinking well-read putts in the glorious Hawaiian sunshine.
