The Explora Journeys Distinction

European Cosmopolitan Luxury Redefined

Unlike traditional ocean cruising with rigid schedules and formal nights, Explora Journeys crafts an environment reminiscent of a luxury European boutique hotel anchored in the world's most glamorous harbors. Here is what sets the fleet apart:

All-Oceanfront Suites

Every single accommodation across EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a private outdoor terrace with a daybed. Entry-level Ocean Terrace Suites start at an expansive 377 sq. ft.—among the largest entry categories in luxury cruising.

Unrestricted Dining

Nine distinct culinary experiences with zero main dining room banquet halls, zero buffet lines, and zero set dining times. Savor authentic Pan-Asian at Sakura, prime cuts at Marble & Co. Grill, classic French gastronomy at Fil Rouge, and guest Michelin-starred chef residencies at Anthology.

Effortless All-Inclusive

Unlimited fine wines, premium champagnes, and handcrafted spirits across 12 indoor and outdoor bars. All onboard gratuities, unlimited high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, Ocean Wellness thermal spa access, and complimentary shuttle transfers in ports are fully inclusive.

Explora Journeys was conceived from scratch by the MSC Group's owning Aponte family to feel like a European boutique superyacht resort rather than a traditional cruise ship. There are no rigid dining times, no formal dress codes, no buffet lines, and no banquet halls. Instead, guests enjoy an effortless Ocean State of Mind featuring residential-style suites with floor-to-ceiling glass, 4 pools (including 3 outdoor heated pools and an all-weather retractable glass roof pool), and Michelin-inspired culinary partnerships.

EXPLORA I debuted in 2023, followed by EXPLORA II in 2024. EXPLORA III is currently under construction and scheduled to enter service in Summer 2026 as the fleet's first liquefied natural gas (LNG) powered vessel. EXPLORA IV will debut in Summer 2027, followed by EXPLORA V and EXPLORA VI entering service through 2028.
