Outstanding planning and direction. Called on a whim, two days later I’m sipping a cool drink beach/poolside in another country. 1st class service brought me first class experience. The destination treated me like a king.No issues. The nice thing is, as a senior, Bre set my WhatsApp with her so I felt like , although 1900 miles away, I had a safety unmbrella over. Bre made sure I was covered for any medical emergency to have an critical path back home if needed. Bre , through general conversation my meal preference picked out for my flights! (Sliders were awesome). They already knew! That about covers a seemlessoperation. Thanks Bre, Yellowstone USA next. MFStone -M. Stone

We just returned from an amazing group trip to the Dominican Republic, and I have to give a huge thank you to Briana! She coordinated our group of 16 people for a stay at Breathless Punta Cana, and everything was flawless from start to finish. Briana handled every detail with professionalism and care. Traveling with a large group can be overwhelming, but she made the process easy and stress free for all of us. Breathless Punta Cana was the perfect destination! It was a beautiful resort, lively atmosphere, great food, and top-notch service. Whether we were relaxing by the pool or enjoying the nightly entertainment, there was always something fun to do. We’re so grateful to Briana for helping us create such an unforgettable experience. If you’re planning a group getaway OR any vacation I highly recommend working with her. She truly went above and beyond! We can’t wait to book our next trip for September! Thanks Bri!! -Steph Carver
If you love the idea of sleeping under the stars but aren’t thrilled about roughing it in a sleeping bag, there’s a perfect middle ground: glamping.
Short for glamorous camping, glamping blends the beauty of the outdoors with the comfort and style of a luxury retreat. One of the best ways to experience it is with Under Canvas, a collection of luxury safari-style camps located near some of the most breathtaking national parks in the United States.
These unique camps allow travelers to immerse themselves in nature without sacrificing comfort — making them ideal for milestone trips, romantic getaways, and bucket-list adventures.
What Is Glamping?
Glamping takes traditional camping and elevates it with thoughtful design, comfortable accommodations, and curated experiences.
Instead of pitching a tent and sleeping on the ground, glamping at Under Canvas means:
Luxury safari-style canvas tents
King-sized beds with plush linens
En-suite bathrooms (in many tents)
Wood-burning stoves for cozy evenings
On-site dining and curated outdoor experiences
You’ll still fall asleep to the sounds of nature and wake up to incredible landscapes — but with a level of comfort that feels far more like a boutique hotel than a campsite.
Where You Can Go Glamping: Under Canvas Locations
One of the most exciting parts of an Under Canvas stay is that their camps are located just minutes from some of America’s most iconic national parks and outdoor destinations.
Near Yellowstone National Park
Stay just outside the entrance of Yellowstone and experience the world’s first national park with a completely different perspective. After a day exploring geysers, wildlife, and geothermal landscapes, return to your luxury tent for a peaceful evening under the stars.
Near Zion National Park
Surrounded by Utah’s dramatic red rock formations, this location is perfect for travelers who want adventure by day and relaxation by night. Hiking, canyoneering, and scenic drives make Zion one of the most spectacular places to experience glamping.
Near Grand Canyon National Park
Few places in the world feel as awe-inspiring as the Grand Canyon. Staying at Under Canvas allows you to combine this natural wonder with a comfortable, elevated outdoor experience.
Near Great Smoky Mountains National Park
For travelers on the East Coast, this location offers incredible access to misty mountain views, waterfalls, and scenic drives through one of the most visited national parks in the country.
Near Arches National Park
Located in Moab, this camp offers access to both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Expect dramatic desert landscapes, incredible hiking, and some of the best stargazing in the United States.
Why Travelers Love the Glamping Experience
Glamping appeals to travelers who want to experience nature without sacrificing comfort.
Guests love that they can:
Explore national parks during the day
Enjoy chef-inspired meals and campfire evenings
Relax in beautifully designed tents
Disconnect from everyday stress
It’s an immersive experience that blends adventure with luxury.
Is Glamping Right for Your Next Trip?
If you love the outdoors but appreciate thoughtful design and comfort, glamping might be the perfect fit.
An Under Canvas stay is ideal for:
Anniversary trips
Milestone birthdays
Bucket-list national park adventures
Couples looking for something unique
Travelers who want nature without traditional camping
It’s a completely different way to experience America’s most iconic landscapes.
Ready to Plan a Glamping Adventure?
If exploring the national parks while staying in a luxury safari-style tent sounds like your kind of adventure, glamping with Under Canvas is a unique experience worth adding to your travel list.
Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply craving time in nature, I can help you plan the perfect itinerary.
Start the conversation and let’s design a trip that combines adventure, comfort, and unforgettable scenery.
So, you’ve booked your first trip to Cancun—white-sand beaches, turquoise water, margaritas on repeat. What could go wrong?
Actually… nothing major. But there are definitely a few things I wish more people knew before arriving in this tropical playground.
Whether you’re heading to an all-inclusive resort or planning to explore the Riviera Maya, these insider tips will help you make the most of your trip—and avoid rookie mistakes.
1. Cancun Is More Than the Hotel Zone
Most travelers never leave the strip of beach resorts known as the Hotel Zone. But venture just a little outside and you’ll find vibrant local neighborhoods, authentic taco joints, colorful markets, and real Mexican culture.
Pro tip: Take a taxi to Mercado 28 in downtown Cancun for shopping and street food without the tourist markup.
2. Don’t Just Stay in Cancun—Explore the Riviera Maya
Cancun is your gateway to some of the best experiences in the Yucatán Peninsula. Think: swimming in cenotes, exploring Mayan ruins, snorkeling in coral reefs, and discovering magical beach towns like Tulum and Playa del Carmen.
Must-do: Day trip to Chichén Itzá or the lesser- known (but less crowded) ruins of Ek Balam.
3. Cenotes Are Unreal—and You’ll Want to Visit More Than One
These natural freshwater sinkholes are unique to the region and insanely beautiful. Some are open-air lagoons, others are mystical underground caves. Bring water shoes, a snorkel, and your sense of adventure.
Favorites: Cenote Dos Ojos, Gran Cenote, or the Instagram-famous Cenote Suytun.
4. All-Inclusive Doesn’t Mean All You Should Do
Sure, it’s tempting to stay poolside with endless mojitos. But Cancun is surrounded by unforgettable experiences. Book a cultural tour, go zip-lining through the jungle, or take a cooking class to learn about Yucatán flavors beyond buffet lines.
Balance the beach with real adventure.
5. The Sun Hits Different Here—Pack (and Reapply) SPF
The Caribbean sun is no joke. Even on cloudy days, you can burn fast. Bring reef-safe sunscreen to protect your skin and the environment, especially if you’re swimming in cenotes or snorkeling.
Hot tip: Avoid spray sunscreens—they’re often banned in eco-parks and cenotes.
6. Airport Transfers Matter More Than You Think
Cancun International Airport is busy and chaotic. Booking a trusted transfer ahead of time (instead of negotiating with random drivers) can save you time, money, and stress. Bonus if they greet you with a cold bottle of water.
Avoid the timeshare pitches in the arrivals hall—walk straight outside to your pre-arranged ride.
7. Yes, You Still Need Pesos
While some touristy spots accept U.S. dollars, using pesos gets you better prices. Local taxis, markets, and street vendors prefer pesos—and you’ll avoid unfavorable exchange rates.
ATMs at banks (not in resorts) offer the best rates.
8. The Best Tacos Aren’t Found in Your Resort
Step outside your hotel for a taste of real Yucatán cuisine. Think cochinita pibil, fresh ceviche, and tacos al pastor that’ll ruin you for life.
Try: El Socio Naiz, Taqueria Los Chachalacos, or a local food tour in downtown Cancun.
9. Nightlife Isn’t Just Spring Break Chaos
Yes, Coco Bongo is wild. But there are also rooftop bars, beach clubs, salsa dancing spots, and low-key lounges if you want something more local or romantic.
Ask locals or your concierge for what’s trending that week—it changes fast.
10. Respect the Culture Beyond the Resort Walls
Cancun might feel like a party bubble, but you’re still a guest in Mexico. Learn a few Spanish phrases, be polite to staff, tip generously, and take time to understand the rich Mayan heritage of the region.
You’ll connect more—and experience more—when you engage respectfully.
Final Thoughts
Cancun is a fantastic first taste of Mexico—but don’t stop there. The real magic lies just beyond the resort gates. Eat like a local, swim in sacred cenotes, explore ancient ruins, and let yourself fall in love with the richness of Riviera Maya.
Because the best trips are the ones where you leave with more than a tan—you come home with stories.

Let’s make your first trip to Mexico unforgettable—and definitely not your last.
Hawaii isn’t one destination—it’s six completely different experiences. Discover how to choose the Hawaiian island that fits your travel style, whether you’re dreaming of adventure, romance, relaxation, or your first-ever trip to paradise.
Oahu
Dreaming of Hawaii but stuck on which island to choose? You’re not alone. Hawaii isn’t a one-size-fits-all destination—each island has a completely different personality. The key to planning the perfect trip isn’t seeing everything… it’s choosing the island that matches how you want to feel on vacation.
Here’s a simple, stress-free way to narrow it down 👇
Step 1: Start With Your Travel Style
Before you think beaches or luaus, ask yourself:
-Do I want relaxation or adventure?
-Is this a honeymoon, family trip, or bucket-list getaway?
-Do I want luxury resorts or local culture?
-Am I renting a car and exploring—or staying put?
🌴 Oahu — Best for First-Timers & City + Beach Lovers
Choose Oahu if you want:
-A little bit of everything
-Iconic beaches like Waikiki
-Restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and culture
-Easy logistics and lots of activities
Why it works:
Oahu blends city energy with island beauty. You can hike Diamond Head in the morning, surf the North Shore in the afternoon, and enjoy world-class dining at night. It’s ideal if you don’t want to sacrifice convenience for paradise.
Skip Oahu if: you want total seclusion or zero crowds.
🌺 Maui — Best for Couples & Balanced Luxury
Choose Maui if you want:
-Romantic vibes and scenic drives
-Upscale resorts with easy exploration
-Beaches, waterfalls, and volcanoes in one trip
Why it works:
Maui is the “best-of-all-worlds” island. The Road to Hana, Haleakalā sunrise, whale watching, and stunning beaches make it incredibly versatile—especially for honeymoons or milestone trips.
Skip Maui if: you want nightlife or the lowest prices.
🌈 Kauai — Best for Nature Lovers & Peace Seekers
Choose Kauai if you want:
-Jaw-dropping scenery
-Fewer crowds
-Hiking, waterfalls, and raw beauty
Why it works:
Kauai feels untouched and deeply peaceful. From the Nā Pali Coast to Waimea Canyon, it’s perfect for travelers who want to unplug and connect with nature.
Skip Kauai if: you need nightlife or lots of organized activities.
🌋 Big Island — Best for Adventure & Diversity
Choose the Big Island if you want:
-Volcanoes, lava fields, and black-sand beaches
-Fewer tourists and wide-open space
-A sense of discovery and adventure
Why it works:
The Big Island is massive and wildly diverse—snow-capped mountains, tropical rainforests, and active volcanoes all on one island. It’s unforgettable for curious, adventurous travelers.
Skip the Big Island if: you don’t want long drives.
🌊 Lanai & Molokai — Best for True Escape
Choose these if you want:
-Extreme privacy
-Minimal crowds
-A slower, more traditional pace
Why they work:
These islands are for travelers who want to disappear. Think fewer resorts, fewer tourists, and deeper cultural experiences.
Skip if: it’s your first trip to Hawaii.
Step 2: Narrow It Down (Fast Decision Guide)
First time in Hawaii? → Oahu or Maui
Honeymoon or anniversary? → Maui or Kauai
Outdoor adventure lover? → Big Island or Kauai
Luxury + relaxation? → Maui or Lanai
Want something different? → Big Island
Final Tip: Don’t Over-Island-Hop
Hawaii rewards slow travel. Moving hotels every few days eats into beach time and adds stress. For most trips under 10 days, one island is perfect.
Ready to Choose Your Island?
The “best” Hawaiian island doesn’t exist—the best one is the one that fits you. Once you match your travel style to the island’s personality, Hawaii stops feeling overwhelming and starts feeling magical ✨
