At Casa Calma, the emphasis is on total peace, tranquilly, and calm. Filled with bespoke artwork, handcrafted items and a wonderfully organic feel, this villa really is something special.
The villa sits in the heart of the exclusive Puntacana Resort and Club. The serenity of the location is designed to revive the mind, body and soul. You’re surrounded by an eco-conscious resort that focuses on sustainability and environmentally-friendly vacations. Puntacana offers a wealth of amenities, including the Six Senses Spa and elegant restaurants. The resort’s two championship-standard golf courses use a unique grass seed that can be watered using sea water to conserve fresh water supplies. This innovative greens management system demonstrates the resort’s commitment to reducing its impact on the environment.
Casa Calma embraces that sense of natural beauty and complements it with soft neutral tones and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. The living spaces are focused purely on comfort, with quirky touches such as the grass panels on the walls and the use of natural reed matting, unglazed ceramics and bespoke wooden benches. The gourmet kitchen is filled with state-of-the-art appliances.
The five bedrooms are sublime and have their own ensuite bathrooms. The ground floor houses the master bedroom with its king-size bed, and two further bedrooms both containing two queen beds each. On the second floor there are two further large bedrooms, both with king-size beds. The feature of the villa is the incredible 393ft² terrace with exceptional views of the golf course. This external living space is the perfect place to watch the sunset.
Outside, a large heated pool is the ideal spot for a few early-morning laps. A Palapa next to the pool provides another outdoor living space and dining area for al fresco meals. The surrounding gardens are simply divine, filled with whispering palm trees and scented flowers. Concierge, maid and butler services ensure that your every need is catered to.
